May 2, 2025: Maplewood, NJ 07040 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) and the visiting Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ), observed Columbia's softball team get by Cranford by a tally of 1-0.
The Cougars (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Montclair Kimberley Academy tipped Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 10-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in a UCC - Watchung bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Cranford will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ).
