New York High School Softball - Bayside bounces Edison
May 3, 2024: Bayside, NY 11361 The Bayside Commodores routed the visiting Edison softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Commodores (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Campus Magnet (Cambria Heights, NY). The Bulldogs go into the PSAL Queens A battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Campus Magnet was routed by Academy of American Studies (Queens, NY), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jamaica for a PSAL Queens - B East battle on Tuesday, May 7. Edison will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 22-1 non-league win over John Adams (Ozone Park, NY). The Beavers record now stands at 8-1.
