New York High School Softball - Edison holds off Campus Magnet
April 30, 2024: Queens, NY 11432 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Edison (Queens, NY) and the visiting Campus Magnet Bulldogs (Cambria Heights, NY), saw Edison's softball squad nip Campus Magnet by a count of 20-18.
The now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Long Island City for a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. Edison will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-9 league loss to Bowne (Flushing, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Campus Magnet falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Academy of American Studies (Queens, NY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-1.
