Maine High School Softball - Mt. Blue loses to Skowhegan
May 3, 2024: Skowhegan, ME 04976 The Skowhegan River Hawks softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars to 3 in the River Hawks league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Skowhegan improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The River Hawks host Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a Class A North game on Monday, May 6. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 7-1. Oxford Hills won 6-2 in their recent league game against Edward Little (Auburn, ME)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) in a Class A North game, on Saturday, May 4. Mt. Blue will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Witches come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 5-2 league loss to Hampden (Hampden, ME).
