Maine High School Softball - Skowhegan bounces Mt. Blue
May 17, 2024: Farmington, ME 04938 Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), 16-1 in a league challenge.
The River Hawks now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brunswick for a Class A North challenge on Monday, May 20. Skowhegan will face a Dragons squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Mt. Blue falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hampden (Hampden, ME) to face the Broncos in a Class A North challenge on Tuesday, May 21. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 6-2.
