The Hayward Farmers baseball team scored 25 runs and held the visiting Mt. Diablo Red Devils to 3 in the Farmers non-league win on Saturday.

The Farmers now hold a 6-16 record. They take the field next when they host Tennyson for a West Alameda County-Shoreline test on Wednesday, May 7. Hayward will play a Lancers team coming off a 14-2 league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-12.

With the defeat, Mt. Diablo drops to 3-16 on the year. The Red devils host Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Broncos in a Diablo-Valley test on Tuesday, May 6. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 12-7. Northgate won 13-1 in their recent league test against Concord (Concord, CA)
