The Griffith Panthers softball team scored 3 runs and held the host South Central Satellites to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. Griffith will confront a Cadets team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, South Central moves to 7-3 on the season. The Satellites host Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN) to confront the Wolves in a Porter County battle on Monday, May 5. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 8-8. Boone Grove won 11-1 in their recent league battle against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN)
