The Knox Redskins edged the host South Central Satellites softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Redskins play the Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN) in a Northern State challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Knox will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Jimmies enter the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 9-4 non-league win over Westview (Topeka, IN).

The Satellites (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kouts (Kouts, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies enter the Porter County challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Kouts edged Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN), 13-6, in a league challenge.
