The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) and the host La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN), observed Lowell's softball team prevail over La Porte by a tally of 12-1.

The Red Devils (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Illiana Christian knocked off Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 8-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Slicers clash with the Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN) in a Duneland bout, on Tuesday, May 6. La Porte will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN).
