Indiana High School Softball - Cascade bounces New Prairie

May 4, 2024: New Carlisle, IN 46552

The Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) softball routed the host New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN), 16-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cadets (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, Hamilton Heights notched a victory over Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN), 11-0, in a non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Glenn for a Northern Indiana challenge on Monday, May 6. New Prairie will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Kouts (Kouts, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 7-8.
