In Friday's non-league challenge, the Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Purdue Poly North Lynx (Indianapolis, IN), by a final score of 18-0.

With the win, Brownstown Central upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Braves host Henryville (Henryville, IN) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Henryville lost 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Borden (Borden, IN)

With the defeat, Purdue Poly North falls to 3-5 on the season. The Lynx travel to Union (Modoc, IN) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8.
