Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the host United Lions (Armagh, PA), saw Marion Center's baseball squad beat United by a margin of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Stingers play the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) in a Heritage battle, on Saturday, May 6. Marion Center will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 12-5 record after their 5-3 league win over West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA).

The Lions now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Derry for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 6. United will play a Trojans squad coming off a 12-5 league loss to Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-9.
