The Minisink Valley Warriors got by the visiting Washingtonville Wizards lacrosse team by a final score of 10-9 in Friday's league match.

With the win, Minisink Valley betters its record to 9-4 on the season. The Warriors host Rondout Valley (Accord, NY) to play the Ganders in a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. The Ganders go into the match with a record of 5-3. Rondout Valley won 20-6 in their recent non-league match against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY)

With the defeat, Washingtonville drops to 9-2 on the season. The Wizards travel to O'Neill (Highland Falls, NY) to play the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, May 8.
