In Friday's league contest, the Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) lacrosse squad edged the host Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 1. Minisink Valley will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Ganders come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 18-12 non-league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY).
