Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a Eastern Shore challenge, on Monday, May 8. Northampton will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Warwick (Newport News, VA).
