May 12, 2023: Lancaster, VA 22503 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) and the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), saw Middlesex's soccer squad knock off Lancaster by a margin of 6-3.
The Chargers now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mathews for a Tidewater test on Monday, May 15. Middlesex will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 13-2 league win over King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Lancaster drops to 5-8 on the season.
