May 5, 2025: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 The University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) lacrosse routed the host Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI), 18-5 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central Catholic for a Region 5 outing on Tuesday, May 6. University Liggett will face a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 15-9 league loss to Academy of the Sacred Heart (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Grosse Pointe North falls to 6-4 on the year. The Norsemen host Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI) to face the Ravens in a Division 1 Region 3 outing on Thursday, May 8. The Ravens go into the outing with a record of 2-9. Royal Oak lost 13-5 in their recent non-league outing against Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI)
