May 5, 2025: Penacook, NH 03303 In Monday's league match, the Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) lacrosse team triumphed over the host Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH), by a tally of 20-6.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Pembroke Spartans (Pembroke, NH) in a Division II match, on Wednesday, May 7. Derryfield will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 21-4 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH).
The The Pride (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Spaulding (Rochester, NH). The Red Raiders enter the Division II match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Spaulding was overwhelmed by Timberlane (Plaistow, NH), 19-1, in a league match.
