The New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) lacrosse nudged the visiting Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs (Jacksonville, NC), 11-10 in Monday's league outing.

The Bears now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to J.H. Rose for a Big Carolina/Northeastern Coastal outing on Wednesday, May 7. New Bern will face a Rampants squad coming off a 16-7 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Rampants record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Northside - Jacksonville falls to 9-7 on the year. The Monarchs host Havelock (Havelock, NC) to face the Rams in a Big Carolina/Northeastern Coastal outing on Wednesday, May 7. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 5-8. Havelock lost 1-0 in their recent league outing against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
