May 6, 2025: Nitro, WV 25143 The Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) baseball the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 5-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Big Blacks now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Gallia Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. Point Pleasant will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 8-0 league win over Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-11.
With the defeat, Nitro drops to 4-15 on the year. The Wildcats host St. Albans (St. Albans, WV) to clash with the Red Dragons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Red Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 17-7. St. Albans won 16-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV)
