The Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) baseball trounced the visiting Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. Ripley will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Nitro drops to 0-3 on the year. The Wildcats host South Charleston (South Charleston, WV) to clash with the Black Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. The Black Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. South Charleston lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)
