In Friday's non-league bout, the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV), by a tally of 13-3.

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Ripley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 2-9 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV).

The Generals (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers enter the Freelance bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, Lincoln County overcame Livonia (Livonia, NY), 10-6, in a non-league bout.
