Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 5-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Winfield moves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Generals host Poca (Poca, WV) to confront the The Dots in a Cardinal contest on Monday, March 24. The The Dots come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Poca lost 16-3 in their recent non-league contest against Keyser (Keyser, WV)

The Vikings now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nitro for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 25. Ripley will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
