The Southwestern Warriors baseball squad (Somerset, KY), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY)

With the triumph, Somerset moves its record to 11-14 on the season. The Briar Jumpers host Corbin (Corbin, KY) to confront the Redhounds in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. The Redhounds come into the contest with a record of 18-13. Corbin lost 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY)

The Warriors now possess a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyle County for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. Southwestern will confront a Rebels squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 18-8.
