New Jersey High School Softball - Dayton edges Scotch Plains-Fanwood
May 6, 2025: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Dayton Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders.
The Bulldogs (10-9) will now prepare for their match against South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 8. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Lancers go into the match with a 4-11 record after their 10-1 league loss to Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ).
