New Jersey High School Softball - Johnson bounces Dayton
April 22, 2025: Springfield, NJ 07081 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) and the host Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ), observed Johnson's softball team prevail over Dayton by a tally of 12-3.
The Crusaders (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cranford (Cranford, NJ). The Cougars go into the UCC - Watchung bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Cranford was routed by Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ), 7-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) in a UCC - Watchung bout, on Thursday, April 24. Dayton will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 11-6 league loss to Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ).
