Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) and the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), witnessed Decatur Central's softball squad tip Franklin Central by a count of 8-6.

The Hawks now sport a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory for a non-league match on Monday, May 9. Decatur Central will meet a Braves squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Pike (Indianapolis, IN). The Braves record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Franklin Central moves to 7-13 on the season. The Flashes host Fishers (Fishers, IN) to meet the Tigers in a Hoosier Crossroads match on Tuesday, May 10. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 6-10. Fishers lost 14-0 in their recent non-league match against Carmel (Carmel, IN)
