Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN) and the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), witnessed Carmel's softball squad tip Decatur Central by a count of 10-9.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 19. Carmel will face a Panthers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Decatur Central moves to 2-3 on the season. The Hawks host Greenwood (Greenwood, IN) to face the Woodmen in a Mid-State match on Tuesday, April 19. The Woodmen go into the match with a record of 4-3. Greenwood lost 16-6 in their recent non-league match against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN)
