Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 6-3 in a league test.

With the win, Helix upgrades its record to 11-14 on the season. The Highlanders host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Foothillers in a Grossmont Hills test on Thursday, May 9. The Foothillers come into the test with a record of 15-12. Grossmont won 6-5 in their recent league test against Santana (Santee, CA)

With the defeat, Steele Canyon falls to 4-22 on the season.
