May 7, 2025: Fulton, IL 61252 In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), by a tally of 15-0.
Next up, the Steamers encounter the East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - West bout, on Thursday, May 8. Fulton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 13-8 record after their 7-6 league win over Fulton (Fulton, IL).
The Chargers (14-11) will now prepare for their bout against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets enter the Three Rivers bout with a 12-12 record. In their last bout, Rockridge was overwhelmed by Annawan-Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
