The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) and the visiting Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA), saw Southern Columbia Area's baseball team beat Hughesville by a margin of 8-2.

The Tigers (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES enter the non-league battle with a 12-3 record.

Next, the Spartans face the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. Hughesville will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-16 record after their 18-0 league loss to Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA).
