Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH), 3-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Geneva improves its record to 9-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 8-10.

The Blue Streaks now hold a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeside for a Chagrin Valley - Lake game on Thursday, May 8. Madison will play a Dragons squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 2-15.
