The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Portage Indians (Portage, IN), observed Lake Central's softball team prevail over Portage by a tally of 12-0.

The Indians (21-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 9-7 record.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Portage will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record.
