In Wednesday's league test, the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), by a tally of 11-4.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 8. Old Forge will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 1-13 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA).

The Chiefs (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats go into the Lackawanna 3 test with a 5-10 record.
