Pennsylvania High School Softball - Holy Cross bounces Old Forge

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) and the visiting Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), observed Holy Cross's softball team notch a victory over Old Forge by a final score of 15-0.

The Crusaders (13-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, Hazleton Area was routed by Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA), 15-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Friday, May 2. Old Forge will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 12-1 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA).
