The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) and the visiting Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN), saw Adams Central's baseball team get by Heritage by a tally of 3-2.

The Flying Jets (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers was tipped by South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN), 11-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Patriots face the Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-6 record after their 8-7 league loss to New Haven (New Haven, IN).
