Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 3-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Adams Central advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Flying Jets travel to Whitko (South Whitley, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, May 2. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 7-3. Whitko won 10-3 in their recent league match against Lewis Cass (Walton, IN)

The Patriots now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Tudor for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. Jay County will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.
