The Monroe Central Golden Bears baseball squad (Parker City, IN), was overwhelmed 14-3 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN)

With the triumph, Jay County moves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Patriots host Adams Central (Monroe, IN) to confront the Flying Jets in a Allen County contest on Thursday, May 1. The Flying Jets come into the contest with a record of 6-6. Adams Central won 11-1 in their recent league contest against Woodlan (Woodburn, IN)

The Golden Bears now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wapahani for a Mid-Eastern contest on Tuesday, April 29. Monroe Central will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 7-4.
