The Eastern Comets baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Tri-Central Trojans to 0 in the Comets league win on Thursday.

The Comets now hold a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwood for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Eastern will play a Knights team coming off a 13-10 league loss to Lewis Cass (Walton, IN). The Knights record now stands at 0-12.

With the defeat, Tri-Central drops to 3-8 on the year. The Trojans host Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 9-8. Greenwood Christian Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Greenwood (Greenwood, IN)
