Illinois High School Baseball - Minooka nipped by Plainfield North
May 8, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60585 Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), 3-2 in a league match.
With the triumph, Plainfield North advances its record to 17-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to battle the Raiders in a Southwest Prairie match on Monday, May 12. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 4-17. Bolingbrook lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
The Indians now have a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way East for a non-league match on Friday, May 9. Minooka will battle a Griffins squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 21-4.
