May 8, 2025: Lamberton, MN 56152 The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) and the host Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Falcons (Lamberton, MN), saw Murray County Central's baseball team gain a win over Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove by a tally of 10-3.
The Rebels (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen enter the Red Rock battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian held off Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN), 7-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Falcons face the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes (Okabena, MN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Coyotes enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 14-0 league loss to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN).
