Illinois High School Soccer - Stevenson knocks off Zion-Benton
May 8, 2025: Zion, IL 60099 The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) soccer overwhelmed the host Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), 8-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Patriots now hold a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban - Lake challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Stevenson will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Bears record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Zion-Benton moves to 3-15 on the year. The Zee-bees host Wheeling (Wheeling, IL) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Wheeling won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL)
