In Thursday's league test, the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), by a tally of 9-4.

Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) in a Fox Valley test, on Monday, May 12. Jacobs will attempt to advance on its 15-14 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 18-5 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL).

The Rockets (12-15) will now prepare for their test against Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Stillman Valley held off Byron (Byron, IL), 15-2, in a league test.
