The Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars (Hinckley, MN) softball routed the visiting McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN), 25-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Jaguars now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] for a Great River outing on Friday, May 9. Hinckley-Finlayson will encounter a Huskies team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Barnum (Barnum, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, McGregor moves to 1-11 on the season. The Mercuries host Carlton (Carlton, MN) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Polar outing on Friday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 0-2.
