The Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) baseball got by the visiting Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), 11-10 in Friday's league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis for a National challenge on Monday, May 11. Hayfield will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-12.

With the defeat, Edison drops to 11-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA) to clash with the Majors in a National challenge on Monday, May 11.
