New York High School Softball - Liverpool bounces Auburn
May 9, 2023: Auburn, NY 13021 Liverpool Warriors (Liverpool, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Auburn Maroons (Auburn, NY), 11-6 in a league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Marcellus for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Liverpool will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Hannibal (Hannibal, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-0.
With the loss, Auburn falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Maroons host Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY) to battle the Northstars in a Section 3 Central Counties - National challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Northstars enter the challenge with a record of 6-10. Cicero-North Syracuse won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against West Genesee (Camillus, NY)
