New York High School Softball - West Genesee bounces Auburn
May 24, 2023: Auburn, NY 13021 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY) and the host Auburn Maroons (Auburn, NY), witnessed West Genesee's softball squad tip Auburn by a count of 4-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Liverpool for a Section 3 Central Counties - National match on Saturday, May 27. West Genesee will face a Warriors squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Auburn moves to 9-8 on the season.
