The Swink Lions (Swink, CO) baseball got by the visiting Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO), 5-4 in Friday's league challenge.

The Lions now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fowler for a 2A Santa Fe challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Swink will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-2 league win over Las Animas (Las Animas, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 17-2.

With the defeat, Rye drops to 5-17 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Las Animas (Las Animas, CO) to clash with the Trojans in a 2A Santa Fe challenge on Tuesday, May 13.
