The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Swink Lions (Swink, CO) and the visiting Crowley County Chargers (Ordway, CO), saw Swink's baseball team gain a win over Crowley County by a tally of 6-3.

The Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against La Veta (La Veta, CO). The Redhawks enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, La Veta held off Sanford (Sanford, CO), 10-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chargers face the Ellicott Thunderhawks (Calhan, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Crowley County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 18-6 non-league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, CO).
