Delaware High School Lacrosse - Middletown drops to Appoquinimink
May 9, 2025: West Middletown, DE 19709 Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE), 17-4 in a league game.
With the victory, Appoquinimink advances its record to 9-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 10-3. Smyrna won 14-0 in their recent league game against Polytech (Woodside, DE)
The Cavaliers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mark's for a non-league game on Monday, May 12. Middletown will play a Spartans team coming off a 19-4 league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Spartans record now stands at 10-2.
